This Privacy Notice for Axon Flow ('we', 'us', or 'our'), describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ('process') your personal information when you use our services ('Services'), including when you use our browser extension or visit our website.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE PROCESS?

In Short: We process a limited set of information necessary for the function of the Services. We do not collect personally identifiable information like your name or email unless you voluntarily provide it by contacting us.

• Information Automatically Collected (Derivative Data): When you use our Services, our servers (hosted by Netlify) automatically collect standard log data, which may include your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, country, and location. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services.
• Conversation Data (Processed, Not Stored): To provide our core feature, we process the text of user conversations. This data is transmitted securely for on-demand summarization and is discarded immediately after the request is completed. We do not store, log, or collect the content of your conversations or summaries.
• Anonymous Usage Data: We use an anonymous, randomly generated user ID to track usage counts for our free tier. This ID is not linked to your personal identity. This data is managed by our database provider, Upstash.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. This includes delivering the summarization service, responding to your inquiries via email or Discord, protecting our Services from abuse, and analyzing aggregated usage trends to improve the product.

3. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We share information with specific third-party service providers as a necessary part of our operations:

• Google Cloud AI: To generate summaries. We disclose the conversation text for this purpose.
• Upstash: As our database provider to store anonymous usage data.
• Netlify: As our cloud hosting provider for our backend functions and website.
• Lemon Squeezy: As our payment processor for Pro subscriptions. They handle all payment data directly.

4. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We keep information only for as long as necessary. Conversation text is discarded immediately. Anonymous user IDs and usage counts are retained to manage the service. Server logs are retained by our provider for a limited period (typically 30 days) for security purposes.

5. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

Depending on your location, you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. The easiest way to exercise your rights is by contacting us at contactaxonflow@gmail.com. We will act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
